How to annotate
Please do the following in order to annotate a text in history class at Pace:
1. Underline important phrases or ideas (don't overdo it).
2. Write summaries of paragraphs or questions in the margins.
3. Circle words you don't know and write the definitions in the margins.
4. Please make sure you annotate the entire packet unless otherwise instructed.

How to Outline
Outlines can always be typed or hand-written. Use this sample as a reference.
1. Write your header.
2. Write the title of the reading as a title (centered, bolded)
3. Sub-headings should be written with roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, V, etc.)
4. Larger facts should be indented and written with capital letters (A, B, C, etc.)
5. Smaller facts should be indented below the larger facts and written with arabic numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.)
If the outline is typed, please use single-spaced formatting.
